Decline an invitation, move a dinner, rename a class. Sunday writes it to your real calendar.

An invitation to trivia night at the school, Thursday at seven. You knew within two seconds that this was a fine thing somebody else was doing. You were never going to go to that one.

So you tell Sunday no, and she declines it for you on the calendar the invitation came from. Thursday is clear, and the school has your answer.

Dinner with friends moves to seven. You change it once in Sunday, and it reads seven on your calendar, on your partner's, and on the shared one, because she has written it to the source rather than kept a version of her own.

Swim runs Thursdays through March under a title that has been wrong since the day it imported. Fix it once. She asks whether you mean this Thursday or every Thursday, and then applies your answer to the whole series.

When you are the one hosting and eight people are coming, she asks you before she cancels on them. That question is deliberate, and she always asks it.

You can also keep something to yourself. An appointment that is only yours can stay inside Sunday and go no further than her.

One limit, stated plainly, because it is the sort of thing software usually blurs. She will take Thursday's swim lesson off your calendar. She will not call the pool and move the lesson. She changes the calendar, and she tells you that is what she did.
